According to ILNA, the feature film Writer is now ready for release

“Post-production on the feature film Writer, directed by Javad Khamisabadi, has now wrapped.”

“Writer, directed by Javad Khamisabadi and written by Khamisabadi in collaboration with Kianoush Abbaszadeh, has finalized all technical stages and is prepared for international presentation and distribution.
The cast includes Mina Vahed, Ali Bagheri, and Majid Pataki. International sales and distribution are being managed by Madakto Pictures under the supervision of Mohammad Toriourian.

“Writer stands as a standalone project distinct from Khamisabadi’s Pencil Sharpener trilogy, which also comprises The Hunter and The Lady.

Javad Khamisabadi, a filmmaker and cinematographer, has previously served as the director of photography and producer on works such as Among the Walls and The Bridge, and produced feature films including The Moon in the Mist and Sia Zangi. He is also the writer and director of the documentary series Familiar Strangers, among several other projects.
